Has the bubble burst.
In the Bonhams Sale at Stafford yesterday very few bikes made their estimate and quite a few nowhere near. There was an H2C estimate £7-£10000 . The auctioneer started it at £3,500 and run it to £5000 but I don`t think he had a bid.

it may be that people are putting money back into bricks and mortar as house prices are starting to romp again, same old cycle that will go bang again, also things stop selling near the end of the year as people batten down for the long winter,or they are buying shares in power companies

I've just quickly gone through the catalogue and results sheet. There appear to have been quite a few bargains to be had there, but also quite a lot of unsold lots. However there were still the usual suspects (British) performing strongly

No.
It won`t until the Govt. stopp printing money to keep Interest rates unnaturally low.
What has happened with prices , is that the one nutter out there who will pay the £17k or whatever for a shiny bike , has bought his one. And we`ll have to wait a while for another to come along. BUT, that hasn`t stopped all the nutters on the other side , upping the price they think their bikes are worth when it comes to selling .
Perfect Example at Stafford show. Some bloke had an S2 for sale. And because Frank sold for for £10/£14k he decides his is worth over £6k. Wrong bars, wrong clutch perch, wrong paint shade, etc etc. A really nice bike in the real world. Buut in the real worls, also worth about £3500+ depending on buyer.
Then again , maybe I just sell them too cheap for what they are ?? ( Cue a chorus of " Oh no you don`ts !!

Best thing on it was the seat! It had KH250 pipes and barely an original bolt on it (if that's what you want). Wrong fuel tap too. All fixable, but I would just wait for a better one.
