We know about the corrosion problems caused by using Ethanol based fuel in our older vehicles, especially when storing them over Winter. Fortunately, it seems a solution is now available in the U.K...or at least it will be, by the end of next week I am assured. Motorex, a Swiss based oil company have recently formulated a product that reduces the damage that Ethanol is wreaking in our fuel systems. I am not aware of any other product that does this in the UK at present, there is Star-Tron in the U.S., but despite looking hard I can find nothing that does the job over here. All I see are general fuel stabilisers, but they have no effect on Ethanol
Retail will be around the £10 mark for a bottle.
