Unfortunate or very fortunate

Sandra said she wanted her own 'project' to do and so being the nice husband I am I managed to source a real BARN FIND 1969 H1 for her Christmas present






She was looking so forward to starting it but while she was at work I couldn't help myself and started on it ,she didn't really stand a chance, I thought I was helping and at least I allowed her to do all the sourcing of the missing parts and make all the phone calls to the chromers etc







She didn't even get a look in and I even allowed her to use the kitchen








Once I got the paint set back I put the seat on it for her first ever sit on her lovely H1 and guess what happened ?







She was only too bloody short to reach the floor on it so she can't ride it and it's too nice to cut down the seat so that means I have to keep it aw well I will still let her use my 400

I got the registration number today from the DVLA so now ready for ME To use

My H2 is almost 30mm lower than std after having to be rescued by a stranger from an(other) imminent topple, it makes a big difference.

As this is the early H1 the forks can't be dropped through yokes, I suppose the only waywould be to have shorter springs fitted, don't like that idea

I have warmed to keeping it for myself now,
I know she will be happy on my S3A again this year, as I find it hard to keep her off it.
