The Plan - I can't replicate the paint job as it was a cock up with the painters, but I can get it near to Just need a H2 tail piece and leave it to me

Sad you're going back to blue though. Some non-standard paint jobs look really good and yours really looked the bogs.

Back many years I wrecked the front of my Ford Granada finished in a non-standard metallic brown. The repairer "computer matched" the colour perfectly. Is this not possible any more?

I'm all sorted now with the no. 2 body set. John (Rubbadub) came up trumps with the side panels, cheers John; and have got a tailpiece complete with rear light coming from France. Have a canister of flip paint (blue/green/purple) that the paint supplier sent me FOC 2 years ago. It has never been opened and kept in the house so am thinking that this will be ok to use.
