Holmfirth, Ride out for Brekky, Sunday 6th April 2014

Post by Wolfie »

This has become a regular meet up for two stokers of all types, the Feb gathering was well attended but only one bike.. it was feckin freezing..

Hopefully a bit better weather for the next one, get in early as the breakfast is cheep and cheerful so the cafe area gets packed.

There are also historic vehicles and memorabilia to have a wander round..

It's all at the Oil Can Cafe, Jackson Bridge, 10:30ish.

Holmfirth is a nice place, and probably even better now that I don't live there anymore

Went this morning but got bloody soaked on the way, weather forecast said no rain but as usual they were wrong. Cafe was full, not a spare seat to be had, only one other bike there, a GT750 kettle, didn't see the owner, bumped into Wolfie n his missus. Didn't hang about and left when the rain stopped. Nice place though if a bit hard to find, will try it again when the weather is better!

Nice to see you there Bill albeit fairly briefly (brekky was on the table), the only (Kwak) triple to make it.. shame you got it mucky, the weather let us down again, it should be a great venue in the summer..
