The same place this morning, not much change except the volume of traffic.

Done the pioneer run on thee 666 today with Clive and Andy. Epsom downs, Brighton then a long route back and stopped at box hill. About 130 miles. It's the longest ride since my ticker attack. I ache like shit but it was great. We met Pete McGuiness in Brighton. I let Clive bridges out on my bike. He said he was a bit disappointed in the performance until he got it over 7 grand for the first time. He said he nearly shit himself. He couldn't stop grinning. Fab weather and company today. Sorry Malc, forgot to take pics.

2 more bikes finished . . . A NICE ride but £100 in "damages" to EACH bike, and you can frown at both!
.
The lovely Blue '72 threw a sidepanel in the first 20 miles
.
The STUNNING H2c had battery acid splatter the NEW left pipe within 30 miles . . . where's the "bang head" emoticon

You're not seriously still using those chemistry set batteries though?
Get them binned and use the Motobatt. No acid to leak and after a winter layup they still have full charge. Definitely worth the extra tenner or so :D :D :D

Nor did I like the yellow but I got sick of flat or low batteries after really pretty short lay-ups and the risk of acid splash on VERY expensive exhausts.
It was the S3's that finished me with the acid batteries as the bikes are so sensitive to battery condition

Newmillerdam Wakefield. An old haunt. There always used to be bikes here in the 70s and 80s - dozens at the weekend. Now it's always deserted except for me occasionally. I feel like a ghost. Where did those days go? :(
