Just bought my uk H1a back from mums garage where it has sat for 16 odd years. I have engine and frame nos but lost the tax disc when I bought it 25+ years ago ...........I know it was on a J plate. Do you think Swansea will have it on their database?????????????? Long shot I know :roll:

Possible, or maybe Rick could help if you told him the engine and frame numbers.

DVLA told me that their database started in 1984 so if it's after that you may have a chance

Nope Rog only a tax disc which was lost maaaaany years ago :evil: I bought it off Nick who bought it from a mutual friend .....it had been stuffed head on but not too bad. I had the fork tubes straightened and replated and ground at Chiswick Works!!!! Ya know I thought it was gonna be one of the best in the UK but there is soooo much not right with it. I feel like selling it on BUT it is a UK bike and I've had it for so many years now. Gotta bring the GS back next time as house has been sold (STC) :roll: :roll: Will try DVLC I guess..... you never know???
