Occasionally they get caught but not often enough. Is that a dash cam app on your phone on say a 10 minute loop? Good quality video even if it's scary.

It's simply my phone on it's side set to record video continuously.

It is actually out of focus cos sometimes it tries to focus on the windscreen not what's beyond.. it would normally be sharp enough to have got that redg no..

There is some sort of stupidity everyday but he was a classic and has disturbed me enough to consider not going on the motorway on a bike again, but I'll probably end up going again after a while..
We were doing about 70, I reckon he was doing 90 plus..

Oddly enough at the same point on the way home, the police were doing a TPac on that stretch as I went back the other way.

I saw on t.v. last night they reckon the u.k. is the worst for careless driving. even showed mothers on the school run putting makeup on while driving etc

That is one crazy fker. I did, however, come to work on mine and the only regret is that i only live six miles away. Could have done with a longer ride. Might take a detour on the way home.

I drive a lot and see stuff like that usually at least once a week...maybe that one was nicked, but not all are. I have seen that particular stunt several times.

It's how it is these days, you either drive/ride fully aware of what's going around you for 360 degrees or you run the risk of hitting twats like that

I had another one tonight, came up behind, not really fast but with headlights flashing like he knew me.. even though I was passing many vehicles.. even before I'd dropped back a lane (I leave room in front of the car I just passed) he had beaten me to it.. then nearly took the front off my van.

Then further on when he wanted to come off, the Mway develops another lane and someone was moving down the inside of him, he started to move over then looked so had to get back into lane...

Fair do's his initial manoeuvre was wrong, but pipping the horn and swearing at him as you repassed him does you no favours.

That just creates yet another situation that can get silly and out of control ...

Yep. And that's exactly what happens in America. I am sure that normal law abiding citizens who have had the odd shouting match with another driver would actualy shoot someone if they happened to find themselves with a loaded gun. I could have taken a few out in my life time Graham.

hah!! I tend to find drivers are more polite in their driving habits over there. Always assumed ir was because loads of them carry guns. So you don't want to flare up stupidly. Like in the UK.

Helps that you can pass in any lane in the States , so you need to be aware. That stops the outside lane hogging too.

look at when we get 4 lanes on a motorway now , instead of 3 , what happens?? Lane One ; empty. lane 2 ; empty. Lane 3. Slow drivers. Lane 4; full of really important expert drivers. Who are allowed to shout at everybody else

magically . On the very rare occasion you find a REAL. police car on the motorway , everyone suddenly is capable of correct lane control. something that speed, sorry "safety". Cameras. Somehow cannot enforce...................
