That's better - you should call it the 'BOS(S)'. Its full moniker is horrible and inappropriate (but possibly appropriate for most of my bikes)

I used up three tanks of petrol just riding around today. I'm only managing to get 50 miles from brimful to reserve.

Ended up going past Box Hills so stopped for a bacon butty.

Spent quite a lot of time at the side of the road changing plugs over. Seemed like a plug problem and eventually found a small bike shop that had the NGKs in stock. Problem seems to have gone away now.

BIG H.

If you are going to be there I might ride over for noon too. I really need to let someone who knows triples to have a look over and give me some advice/reassurance. The last few weeks have just been a haze of shakedown tests and problems to resolve. My experience is from over thirty years ago and so at the moment it's a complete mixture of grins and fun with concerns and worries about things that might need sorting and how best go about it.

What bike you got so I can find you?

Clive. I think I talked to you when I was searching for a triple a few weeks ago. Sorry I never made it down to you but I went up to see the H2C pictured above, In the background), and thought it was the right one for me.

BigH,

Only had time to check my needle setting this evening. You were right, the circlip was on the bottom setting on all three carbs so I moved them up to the fourth one down. One step closer to better running, (and fuel consumption), I think :D

I'll check the main jet size tomorrow.

Thanks for help.
