Boy o Boy what a long weekend! Pleased to say the old H2C survived 1,080 miles. Must admit oil leaking out of everything! Chain totally shot. I was pleasantly surprised my body allowed me to enjoy the great company and event. Paris on a Monday morning rush hour was an experience. Our guide Bertrand was amazing through the traffic. I can say for sure I will not look forward to that part of France again! JP also gave us some superb guidance and on one mad stretch i managed 22 mpg!

Well!!!l what an epic weekend. 1st of all I must thank Bertrand for his hospitality for putting us up in his modest country retreat
.also a BIG thanks to the French Kettle Club.We could learn a lot on how to put on an event from them.50 Quid for entries and all you can eat and drink. A bunch of TOP Blokes .I will leave the story of the weekend to somebody else to tell .Maybe a good article for the mag?.Anyone who was thinking of going and didn't you have got to do it next year !! one of the best weekends I have EVER had and a MASIVE tick in the life box
. Once again a HUGE Thanks to J.P.and the French posse a privilege to ride with you guys.

Re: Coupes Moto Legende 30th may-1st june
Well then.what a hoot! best bike rally.show i have been to ! Watching all the z1 triples rds all shiny top bikes being riden by their owners having the tits nailed out of them on the race track.fastest on the track was an h1a lapping the rest of them.all standard bikes.
A big big thank you to jp and bertrand for a geat time.i have never laughed and had so much for a long time.As for the suzuki triples club de france.they were a great bunch who went out of their way to make us welcome.
The ride down was as usual for me seming to follow a pattern.fit a crank the day before.get not one but two punctures.nicking dams z1 rear wheel at 1am in the morning then off!!
Jp took us down to the track via some fine quiet twisty roads testing chain brakes and at timrs underpants fi.brilliant!!
The run back was similar and as mentioned before as stop off at Bertrands who after no
feeling to good took the time and effort to cook us fine dinner befote bed time.
I think the weekend had taken its toll as he had to be woken by a denco alarm call by Sam!
The rest of the return trip has been covered by Sam or Chris.
The last part i write now as i sit on a train from Newcastle to Edinburgh to collect my van and trailer
and return to collect my bike as it has spat its fuel contents out through a pinhole in the tank and was going no further!!
