Black paintwork

is this correct for a H1a

battery box -gloss
bottom yolk- gloss
mesh cover over ignition boxes-gloss

chain guard-Satin
headlight fork ears-Satin....mine look like gloss at the moment thou

I thought they had a chrome chain guard. :smt102

I believe some were black,my H1b is chrome thou

I am pretty sure the ears and chain guard were gloss black on the UK H1a but I will stand to be corrected. Chrome guard on US model. UK H1a`s had points ignition not CDi.

I should have said its a US import CDi ignition.

ears do look like gloss on mine,not sure about the chain guard,but defo not chrome :lol:

deffo Chrome. Got those little "finned" bits at front.

Headlamps Ears. Satin ,not matt. Satin. Thats awee bit shiny .
Which is like the result when I try and paint something gloss !!! :|

( Then again, the Factory were not adverse to chucking last year/next years parts on some bikes at the beginnig/near end of production. So if yours is a low/high numbered version of the model, anything goes !!!

Well Neil has the little finned bits you mention, in fact its exactly the same as my B which is chrome.

So I guess its Satin Black then ,the same as the fork ears :smt102

Yes I did get a cylinder of DK.phoned them straight after I spoke to you ,Ta Thumbs Up

Just need a rebore ,new crank etc etc etc,........I said no more resto,s last time.

what the F#ck :lol:
