Thanks Del and the SPSG for another great Southern. This year I did the Indian and ride out and had a great time until about 10 miles from the end of the rideout. Suddenly a strange noise from the right pot. Clutch in and stopped the motor. With help from the lads I managed to limp back under my own steam with a noisy engine on overrun. A big thanks to all of the junction markers who waited 25 or more minutes for me to appear – the system works – although I feel a bit guilty as one was Rick and the other JP!!! The noise turned out to be the little end breaking up.

For Christmas all I want (need) is a KH500 right barrel and head.

A big thank you to all that helped. :D

Boefe ala mode as we say in France Paris via Maidstone England

How do I top all the lovely heart warmed thanks!

From the first 2008 & Second 2009 Southern Rally I organised single handed it's been a learning curve to say the least, however the last four have been an absolute pleasure with the help of Mike & Karen Prentice with whom I could not now do this without their support, thank you

A great team at The Hawkenbury Inn, great venue, fantastic food & service, yes we still have a parking problem but I think thats a small price to pay for such a great venue set deep in the heart of The Garden Of England & now most of you know how to get there!

Every year new faces arrive along with old faces too, this year I was really pleased to see Andy Appleby, because many years ago on my very first visit to the Northern Rally at Amber Valley Rugby club it was Andy's last!! Glad your back mate & hope it's not your last cocker Thumbs Up

I could go on & on & on & on, so just a quickie, the weather was Fab again Thumbs Up, but without you, yes you out there in Kawasaki Triples Land Worldwide it wouldn't be as successful as it has been year on year for this I thank you all for comming and supporting it, and please keep coming rain or shine it will always be a bloody great Southern Rally :smt004

Going on gossip around the site over the weekend I think I speak for everyone that attended this year that, 2014 was the Very Best Southern Rally Ever - Thank You Thumbs Up

He who dares wins, See you in 2015 it's all booked so stick it in your Diary Now Fri 11th Sat 12th Sun 13th Sept 2015 Delboy :D :D :D

El Presidente wrote:What a WONDERFUL weekend! It was touch and go as to whether I would make it, but I am soooo happy that I did and I live to fight yet another day! Unknown to me my phone GPS sensor said I hit a high of 104.5 MPH (no doubt trying to prove that the 550 KTM was no match for a H2 round the bends :P ) My sincere thanks to Mike & Karen (especially the relentless Karen) Del and all others that helped to make it such a great weekend! A BIG high five to the most unlikely landlord and a very conscientious landlady and staff! TOTAL respect to all the French guys that made the effort!!!!!!!! - - -Great times, Great memories . . . YOU should have been there! Thumbs Up
That pretty well sums it up Thumbs Up
Nice one Steve I couldn't have put it better myself, see you next year!
