I convinced myself not to do a resto this winter after all I need another bike like a hole in the head.But a severe case of Tripleites struck and this little lady followed me home

She is a UK H1A and the plan is to try and do a nut and bolt correct rebuild as I am sure there cant be many UK H1A survivors .I am going to need help on the journey and could do with some detailed photos of an original bike. Malcolm says eman and scouse has an original UK spec H1A if anyone else has one and would share some info PM me Cheers Chris

Never mind how he restores it (or not), I think the real entertainment will be where he stores it and works on it

Took the heads and barrels of last night apparently bike hasn't run for 30+ years new pistons and rebored barrels crank looks new too obviously don't know for sure till i strip it out motor has never been ran since rebuild :shock: get ready for the questions boys :)

I've had one for 30 odd years !!! not finished yet :roll: 280 sold over here and 600 KHs sold...........BUT only 6000 KHs built and 25000 H1a's made!! :shock:

I think quite a few were totalled in a very short time, nearly done it myself. They may call the H2 the widow maker but before that came on the scene people used to say to me, How are you still alive. :roll:
