Well going by the Posts on here & Simons Site the Possibilities seem to be as follows:
1) Drag Racing Scene
2) Jukebox/Cafe Scene
3) New Bike Showroom Scene
4) Nude/Topless Women Scene
This is all bearing in mind that we are a Small Club (300+ Members) with a limited Budget compared to the likes of the VJMC (5000+ Members) with loads of Money.
Personally I like to see the Bikes only but a small Scene may be o.k.
Any Ideas/Comments?...........It is your Club.

My veiw is the theme for Stafford 2007 should be the drag strip theme ,Donnington 2007 can be a 1970,s kawasaki showroom and if we need more money see Keith YUM YUM

I agree with Richard, if we have the same spot as last year at Donnington it lends itself perfectly to a 1970's showroom even down to the shop front windows and tiled floor. Why not utilise the free scenery.
The position we have at Stafford is also ideal for a drag strip theme being a long narrow area so should be easy to create a track scene.

ok,
how do we make donington look like a show room??
lining the bikes up as per last year wont be enough as it just becomes a"row" of bikes?

Yep I will go for that - A Showroom for Donnington & a Drag-Strip for Stafford unless that is unless we can get some really tasty half-naked Ladies for next to nothing?.
Any offers?
Thinking about it we could also have a Pub Scene with Real Beer etc - Guiness all Day - What a Thought

Really tasty half naked ladies for next to nothing?
Mmmm......how about calling upon the services of triple owners wives and girlfriends. The committee members could hold auditions and select the most suitable candidates.
And before anyone shouts, who didn't look at the readers wives section first when they were young?

Showroom sounds great. Now, what would a showroom have had.
We need price tickets that look authentic. Someone dressed smart as a salesman. A portable clothing rack with leathers and jackets hanging on it (we can all lend the stand something for this). Someone in one of the race (TT) overalls cleaning the bikes periodically. A parts department (but we sell club merchandise instead). And also, a name for the showroom with a banner. I can probably get one done cheap by a mate in my local pub (his firm makes them) This could go outside the window. Lets have some sensible feedback guys as time does go very quick.

i think we need two banners one for outside and one for inside?
maybe "donington kawasaki"
i know it means we can only use them them at donington but if rog can get them done cheap enough it would really get the point across??
also what about emphasizing the point that "donington kawasaki "is a new dealership and this is the grand opening weekend??
also my "kawasaki parts sign" from the seventies will hopefully have arrived from h2 brad.
the parts department selling merchandise is a great idea!
we could have the glass case i used at stafford filled with nos spares(not for sale!!) as a display??
we would need another sign
servicing dept?
