sound like a plastic roof conservatory when it rains, which it always does at sometime of the rideout,..cool lookin helmet, pick yer days as gets foggy in there too,.

think my nose is too near the visor,

not my noise in my Arai and with Gary C am one of the top big noise club member

The pinlock system is just a heath robinson bodge because the vent system doesn't work properly. I don't like the way it reduces your peripheral vision so use anti-fog sprays.

My "cheap" Nitro hardly ever misted up.

and another thing,whilst we are slagging off the helmet brand i have just bought,if the visor is down and you move your head to look over your shoulder the visor pops up slightly which is annoying....what a load of crap arai's are

I have an X Lite Hailwood rep, I think it`s ok just a bit tight putting it on. Now over to you lot to tell me what`s wrong with it.

I can't agree Tony, the majority of the upper end helmet brands now incorporate Pinlock, its in my Shoei Multitech and my lassies X-Lite too.

If its installed correctly , and, by the way, (you need the 'race' version insert which is bigger), you won't have any probs with peripheral vision, I've literally done many thousands of miles with mine and its always functioned really well in ALL weather

Tony try these... the 'race' version is much larger so you shouldn't see the edge of the insert,, it works really well
