H2 clutch springs

Post by BIG H »

I have done a simple load test on some springs.
Load given is to compress spring 5mm.
(In brackets is spring free length & wire cross section)
Original but used H2 spring 9Kg ( 31.75mm x 2.63mm)
Kawasaki 92081-1114 10Kg (33mm x 2.7mm)
EBC CSK-023 11Kg (32mm x 2.67mm)
Kawasaki 92081-1033 12Kg (33.5mm x 2.81mm) old part number was 92081-105 (from Z1/Z900)

Cool! I love experiments.
How about doing a range of values and plotting them to see how they compare across their working range. Like, are they all linear, when do they begin to bind up etc.
