Kawasaki H2/a/b/c Standard Condition wanted to borrow!?

Post by Smokie »

Hello All :D ,

Just had a Telephone call from John Cantile at 2 Wheels Only Bike Magazine - Anybody with a Standard H2/a/b/c interested give him a ring ASAP.
Ta Ta - Keith :D

Hi Keith -

Good to talk to you earlier.

Two Wheels Only magazine does a monthly classic road-test pitching two old
rivals from yesteryear against each other again, and for next month we'd
like to do a Suzuki GT750 v Kawasaki H2.

I've managed to locate a willing owner of a Kettle, but am now looking for a
similar H2 owner who would be okay for us to ride their bike sometime within
the next two weeks.

Do you know of anyone who's got a mint, original-spec H2 who would be happy
for us to ride it in the magazine? We'd do no more than around 50 miles on
the bike, it would be vanned to/from location, fully insured by us and
treated with the utmost respect. We'd also want to interview the owner about
the real costs of living with a bike like this.

If you could perhaps post this email up on the site and let me know if
there's any interest, I'd be hugely grateful!

Kindest regards,

John Cantlie

They are a bit behind... Bike mag did that very same two bike shootout in 1974, guess which bike won the drag starts..... :D

but then guess which one lasted the whole test...
