Stafford 2006 Post-Mortem - Treasurers Report.

Post by Smokie »

Hello All :D

Well we all got back from Stafford safely - A little bit longer than getting there & instead of a Van/Lorry we all could have done with a Boat

The Club Stand was as usual one of the best having more Bikes on Show than most club stands who sacrificed their space with Sheds  - Mind you the Judges must be into Gardening as the one with the biggest Shed actually won best Club Stand :?
Funny that - I always thought that it was a Classic BIKE Show?

Anyway here are some if not the Full list of Results for the Club:

Prizes: Best Seventies Bike went to Mark Speight (Tango Man) for his H2b.

Highly Commended went to Richard (OLD) Young for his S1 & another to Rick (RB) for his S1b.

As regards Financial Results for the Club:

Club Sales: 11 Jackets @ £35 Each
19 T-Shirts @ £12 Each
5 Caps @ £8 Each
2 Club Badges 85p
Contribution from VJMC £100 - ( Thanks to Doug Perkins for this one methinks :D )

We also signed up 21 New Menbers @£20 Each
& we had one Renewal @ £20.

The Total amount Taken was £1053.85
This will be put in the Bank Today (Tuesday 24th October)

Overall another Fun Packed Show & more Exposure for the Club.

Any Comments - Let me know.

Ta Ta - Keith Philpott :D (Club Money Man)

P.S. If you would like a Jacket/T-Shirt etc etc please let us know as this does help the Club in many ways.
Either PM me or E-mail direct at KPhilpott@aol.com

Another great show. Many thanks to all who showed bikes, manned the stand, organised clothing / regalia, and brought extras along to make the stand look good. And it did look good.
Welcome all you new members. Please post here and let us all know who you are and what area you are from.

NICE REPORT KEITH

Any chance of a picture of jacket/shirt?

Close friend came over yesterday and said our display was the most appealing and he rides a 380 gt.

Well done all.

Hope to make it next year.

Hello Sam & All :D ,

I hope to include a Club Catologue of all the Items we have for sale at the moment in the December Club Magazine.

Meanwhile if I can work out how to post a Piccie on here :? I will pop a view of one on the Site.

There are a few Piccies of the "Gang" at Stafford in my Personal Gallery on here under "Smokie".
Quite scary though - Only look while sitting down

Nice pictures. Close friend just about to finish his 380GT rebuild.

Just hope more club members get to see them! Must try to get more over from Simons site to see pictures.

Another great weekend spoiled only by the lack of recognition for some really nice bikes  (and I don't mean mine!) and the crap service at the hotel  .

Well done Keith for the enormous effort you put into arranging the regalia and all the fliers and cards - I don't know where you find the time to do it and restore 4 bikes at the same time (not to mention getting all my Stinger bits off ebay) .

Cheers mate

Many Thanks Greald & All for the Kind Comments :D

I will pay you all later on

If you look in my Smokie Picture Folder I have now added 3 x Piccies of the T125 Stinger & 3 x Piccies of the Yamaha YCS5E on the VJMC Stand.

I had to adjust the Brightness/Contrast in Photoshop as the Light in the Stafford Hall was pretty Crap but if you use the Highest Resolution they look pretty Stunning 8)

See you soon,

Ta Ta - Keith :D
