Hi all, not good news, but please keep your ears peeled and eyes to the ground..

Phil Swivs Suzuki X7 CTG406V was stolen in the Dewsbury area sometime in the last day or so, they cut the ground anchor post and wrecked the garage door, so it sounds like they came intending not to leave empty handed.

He's built the bike from the ground upward and it is his pride n joy, I never heard of Phil being down or miserable ever, but this has kicked him for six...

If anyone hears owt, owt at all, please get in touch.

Phil has updated his posts with identifying marks, should it be broken for parts..


"Many small things that only I would know on this bike...

Small dent in side of NOS front mudguard - caused by leaving Blackpool rally site with cable lock through front wheel.

Headlight bulb holder is taped onto the back of the healight shell because on of the securing tangs is missing.

Tank has a scratch in the paint, on the top, about 4" long due to a stone getting under my tank bag on Scottish trip.

The rear fastener on the chainguard had lost it's thread so there's a clip with a suspended nut on it but it's a small self tapper
into the fixer not a bolt.

The rack has rough chrome at the back - poor quality control when I had it done.

All four indicators: - inside, the bulb holder is sat on a bed of silicone, as I was fed up of them shearing due to vibration.

Rev counter will have lost a lot of it's black paint if they've taken the Cadwell sticker off (that's why I left it on).

There's a wadge of kitchen roll under left hand fork dust seal - to mop up any weeping.

The wheels are Grey not Black.

The front master cylinder is new, chinese part, a funny shape (intended for GN250 I think). Black coated braided front hose."
