the one that keeps losing right hand cylinder , starts off alright then drops down to down to 2 take the plug out (which is wet with petrol) but if i pop another plug in its fine

any ideas

you might have a 'sink' instead of a float in that carb (common). take it out and shake it, if it rattles it's full of fuel.

After that, which plugs are you using? B9s might be too cold for a small, gently treated engine.
