Lemmy with Motorhead

Not triple related.......but definatly UK related.........Lemmy with the great Band Motorhead is gone.........got to meet him once in Dallas around 1990 and they played a really great show.........A Real Rock Star.........never realized he was born in 1945.........played his last concert 2 1/2 weeks before passing from cancer

Watched a show on him way back when, he lived in a trailer in a motorcycle graveyard.......how cool is that ............sure he could have lived up town if he wanted to

Just goes to show, old guys can still rock

He turned up a few times many years ago at a few of The Dammed's gigs and used to get up on stage and join in - a great laugh

Yes, sad news.........that Boy kept on going to the very end........good for him ........saw the damned once, good band..........we used to go to the "Twilight Room" in Dallas and see a lot of UK punk bands in the 80's........the UK bands were always my favorite, the Exploited, GBH, UK subs, UK decay..........well, much younger then, those were good times ........lot of fights at those shows

Yep - great times - I saw all of them . You would be surprised how many are still going (mostly bald or grey now though ) - but just as noisy
