Tracker ?

Post by El Presidente »

Club Promotion Opportunity

Dear Richard,

I have found your details from the publicly available DVLA-List of Vehicle Owners Clubs, I hope you do not mind the direct approach.
As a pair of classic car & motorcycle enthusiasts who have both suffered incidents involving theft, we have recently launched a vehicle tracking service entirely dedicated to classic cars and motorcycles. http://www.classic-tracker.com

As part of our launch, we would like organise a promotion with the Kawasaki Triples Club, whereby your members could purchase a classic tracker and associated annual service at a discounted price.

Perhaps you have an email distribution list, a regular newsletter, club magazine or similar where we could promote for the benefit of your members and indeed, their cars/motorcycles?

If you could let me know if this might be of interest to you and your members, and indeed what might be involved in enabling this promotion. I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

With Kind Regards,
Nick

It is of course a good idea, but when a classic vehicle is stolen it is often stripped into a million pieces within hours (Phil Swivs X7 being a prime example), thereby finding the tracker and moving it on. And the average tea leaf now knows you can detect and locate a tracker with a CAT (Cable avoiding tool set to Radio).

There is also a problem of where would you hide a bar of soap an a Triple beyond a cursory glance? I know where mine would go. Thumbs Up

Maybe we should ask for an evaluation unit?

A red box with "tracker" written on it is not that subtle.
