Whilst I couldn't make it up to the rally this weekend I still managed to get out on the bike to enjoy the sunshine. Got my 15 year old daughter visiting me from the States so took her out for a run to Cheddar Gorge. She loves riding pillion on this bike but with this set up it's not the most friendly ride for a passenger. There's little room on the footrests behind the rear-sets, I'm more leaned forwards so harder to hold onto and she's sitting up in the wind more. Also the vibrations really get to her hands and feet! From my point of view it's hard to ride this bike really smoothly and not use the revs much and of course the handling is totally upset. Braking is noticeably worse and the rear suspension is inadequate.
But on the plus side passengers mean photographs so we managed to get a few decent action shots which makes a change from the same old pictures of bike sat at the roadside.
