Hi Chaps,
Just getting into a resto of a H2B, my first 750 after a lovely H1E restoration a few years ago.
I thought the seat base would be usable, but it has rusted on the left side, a couple of cm deep approx 1/4 the length of the base. I'm not much of a welder myself, is there anyone that repairs these? I really don't want to put on a repro one if at all possible.
Also a simlar story with the centre pipe. It's got a flat at the end where it's been down and also a couple of holes at the join, midway up. Is there anyone that will repair these, or have one I can buy and chrome?
Then there's the sidestand which is missing the level / lug you use to put it down.. Sigh...
Thanks.
Alan.

You could try these:-
Metal Magic in Hampshire - I have heard good things about.
They do all sorts of bike and vintage car repairs and fabrications.
