Been working on 250 for at least 12 month along with kit car and van I could not get it to kick up so removed clutch cover and spun motor with socket on the end of crank managed to start it so refitted cover and oil pump managed to kick it up and bleed oil pump so looks like I might be ok might get to the 400 soon

He's not as green as he is cabbage looking. I tried it back in the 80s on an LC but my lecky drill wasn't powerful enough. What did you spin it with Ray?

Spun it with a dewalt that I bought off car boot 15 years ago for a £1 it did get a bit hot and had to let it cool down a few times
I spotted a race style engine starter at Stafford but at £750 a bit pricey for my pocket
