Which handlebars?

Post by Phil M »

Hi, I am hoping for some info on the handlebars used on a H1E, US spec, are they the same as Z1bars? I also noticed on one of the parts sites it mentions a "mid bar" so I'm guessing thats a halfway bar? If I go with the higher US bars are cable easy enough to get here in UK. My current bars are ok but the knurled part doesn't match the clamps so I think they must not be the correct one. Any input welcome.

Hello mate you probably have generic bars from an aftermarket supplier ?? Simon Lister at Kawa Triple Parts has lots of stuff and it will fit correctly. Zpower also have a bit of triple stuff listed and give a 10% discount to club members.Cables can always be sourced from the States as long as you keep the price down to avoid customs charges....used to be $20.00 I think. I have a aftermarket over length set from the US but reckon they are for a chopper !!!! and they are grey anyway. Venhill will make good cables to your spec for not much money Good luck with your project and all the best.....Rob.

No need to go state side for US cables, most cables now available on the aftermarket are for high bar US bikes
