Oddly enough I also know Phil H2C, and very odd that we were both looking for a H2C at the same time without each other knowing.
I have been looking at, and for a H2C for quite a few years, I have seen some that I have kicked myself for not buying (Malc's H2C for one) and have seen others that were, to put it nicely best left alone.
Anyway, a month or so ago I dropped on a 75 reg H2C, turned out to be a genuine UK bike, Kawasaki confirmed that the frame/engine left the factory as a 'whole machine' it has also only had 3 owners, at least 3 registered owners, so I bought it.
It has provided some quite pleasant surprises, and a few unpleasant one's I might add, but, most of the 'UK' parts are still with the bike, but it is missing a few parts and Malc has provided both help and advice, thanks Malc
Wheels are correct, and yes, that is its original front tyre made in 1974
I thought I knew quite a bit about these, but, I am finding out it's a steep learning curve! hopefully the bike will be somewhere near ready by the spring
