H1 Oil tank rubbers

Hi guys, so it seems the two rubbers 92075-166 and 92075-183 are hard or even impossible to get, I have found the round one on ebay in the US, but by the time I pay the customs charges etc its crazy money, so my question is, has anybody found a suitable the part to us? I saw some comments about using a side panel rubber for the oval one but nothing conclusive. What about the tank securing band, anything else fit that too??

Z-Power do the rubber rear fuel tank band, maybe Simon Lister (KawasakiTripleParts) also.

Really!! is my post that difficult to understand, I guess that explains why nobody replied.

I'd hoped joining this forum would help me building my bike, surely that's why we go on forums like this, to help or be helped. Asking about the options for what appear to be rare parts would to me come under the "help" category. All I asked is if any other parts would do the same job.

I pm'd a member 2 weeks ago asking about something that had been mentioned on this forum, no reply to that either. not seeming much of a helpful site I'm wondering why we are paying to access the forum......

Showing a photo of the page out the parts book would help,
I looked for the first rubbers you mentioned at first and found them at Mach 4 on ebay and like you said they were expensive.
I only really do H2"s so im not familiar with the 500"s especially the later ones.
With a picture I will have a better idea what you are after and will try to help

Hi, you could try to contact eBay seller uks1 as he has had lots of small triple parts in the past.
Those grommets are a funny shape/ size. I think you can make the long one up from a similar profile one, cut it to size and glue it back together.
I can see you are frustrated by the apparent lack of help but the post could have been more detailed.
For example not all H1’s have the same oil tank or fittings so the exact model would have helped. I appreciate that a a new or first time triple owner you may not have the experience to know that they are different.
Basically, the more detail the better.
Also, a lot of triple owners may only know about the size and model they own so only a percentage of forum owners would be in a position to answer.
Keep the faith, this is normally a great friendly and helpful club.

OK Phil, you can put your dummy back in the pram As others have mentioned a specific model type or pics would have helped your cause.
The best thing you can do is put those part numbers in an eBay search and set an email reminder so you get notified as soon as one appears on eBay.
Putting them into Google sometimes yields results, but beware the generic Parts sites that list them but don't actually have them in stock.
You may have to get creative as a short term fix e,g, squashing a suitably sized round grommet would work for 92075-166

Stupid money though!
You might be better looking on ebay for something of a similar length and make do with that. Mine is 23cm from one end of buckle to the other end of the buckle at the other end(Total Length).

I am new to this site as well and I can only complement the information I have been able to glean and the advice I have received.
Most owners probably just enjoy the ownership aspect and are not really into the technical details of which grommet goes where.

I got a universal band off eBay, made to measure... its perfect for a fiver.

Will watch out for the two rubbers which go under the tank next.
