Bike lift modification whilst in lock down

I have previously posted on here about my purchase of a bike lift and then the realisation that it was eating my garage floor.
Since we are not allowed ( guilty feeling ) to ride our toys I thought I would spend a bit of time modifying my lift to cure the problem, good old eBay allowed me to purchase the required bits and bobs and then a couple of afternoons ‘exercising’ at my workshop enabled the conversion to be completed.
Of course I believed the Chinese manufacturers specification of 150kg per wheel, but as long as it’s half that I should be O.K.
Just in case it doesn’t work out, I designed it all to be returnable to ‘garage floor eating originality’
A bit unattractive but it now moves with considerably less effort and hopefully will allow me to repaint the floor.
Now that’s done it’s back to the decorating dear !

P.S. Could someone ( Tony if your available ) please turn my photos through 180 degrees as I have just spent the last 15 mins trying to do it and reload the results it’s not worked and I think I would rather now go decorating !

Once the conversion was complete I realised a major part of the problem was the surface finish of my garage floor, the bike lift moved easier than it did with steel wheels but the roughness of the floor was probably going to kill my plastic wheels.
Half a bag of floor levelling compound and the remains of my floor paint and I now have a smooth floor.
Wheels are still going to make an impression in the paint due to the point loading but it slides around as if on ice now and the braked wheels do work easing bike loading.
Back to bike polishing now as Boris still has not let us loose !

I needed a work platform to reach the roofbeams with a brush, then I realised I already had one!
