Took a trip up to Robinsons dealership

Post by malc87 »

Based in North Manchester i went along with a club member who was buying a brand new Suzuki GSXR1000.
They seemed to be a main dealer for Kawasaki, Suzuki and royal Enfield with plenty of new bikes.
Second hand they dealt in anything including classics
There were two Suzuki RE5"s, early ones, with the flip type clock pod rather than the later GT750 clocks which was the one I rode owed by RB on one of my trips to the USA
Both in nice condition price was £15000 each.
Honda CBX 1000 at £16000.
Of more interest was a UK h1D, albeit a rare bike but with a price of

Next to it was a UK Z1R again high priced at £13995
i asked what was the lowest they would do as my mate Al is looking for one, in fact i asked 4 times with them having little enthusiasm to find out the best price from the guy who was handling it!!
Eventually, and i wasnt going to ask again they came back with £13200 as the best price.
Al would have gone to 12k but no more.
