Fuel stabilizer

Good evening,

Does anyone / everyone use a fuel stabilizer?

I'm running E5 on a rebuilt engine.

Is there any reason not to use it? Is it recommended?

Are some preferred?

Bike is S3A.

There is no strong evidence that it does much, but I have used Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit for years and it certainly doesn't do any harm.

I put a few glugs in each tank just before winter.

I use it over winter on all bikes not used. Good for lawn mower also.

Same here, been using the Briggs and Stratton product for years now, no problems ever even after leaving bikes for a few months over winter. (KH400 & kh500 and 1971 Triumph 2.5 PI)

If you use Esso Supreme then depending on where it has been refined there is no ethanol at all in it (even though the pump may say E5). This is certainly true for East Anglia
