Reliable H2

just wanted to sing the H2's praises,
and must say that over the years of me owning all sort of vintage japs, my H2C over the last 3yrs or so, is /has been the most reliable bike i've owned, it starts on the button every time and while all the others have had some sort of fault only known to the bike itself
you know the scenario of think i'll go for rideout not too far or whatever and the bike you want to take wont bleedin' start for some ryme or reason, just had it again with the RD5,
my H2 starts every time !!

So Brian, you have an electric start conversion eh? Well well.
Have to agree, my H2B is so bloody reliable it's untrue. And how many people do you meet at bike events who say, nice, but aren't they unreliable though.
NO THEY ARE NOT YOU DUMB FKER.

yep, my long suffering h2b has been faultless up to now
and it has had some thrashings

probably why it is faultless
when i used to work in a bike shop, you would get people coming in saying " my bike needs a service"
ok what is up with it (would be the usual reply)
"it has lost it's edge performance wise"
what bike is it
"350 lc"
do you do a lot of town work?
"yes"
take it down the A164 and thrash it, if the performance is still missing we will take a look at it
very rearly did they come back

My H2b has been good too, and it's been all over.
There was just this ONE incident.... but given the riding conditions at the time I can't really blame a 30 year old bike.

I don't particularly like my h2 BUT it has been reliable and trouble free.But it was restored a long time ago so i suppose the niggles were sorted out long ago.In honesty all my triples have been reliable.I think it's just that triples don't suffer gougers very well....

My H2a is undergoing open heart surgery right now. The consultant persrcibed a new middle piston. It's all on the NHS so I don't worry about the bill. I hope she recovers well as I do not want to loose her .
