Has anyone got a photo of where exactly the indicator relay goes on an H2A . I can't remember where goes

it hangs off the back of the battery box close to the chain oiler pump on a round rubber with a small slot in it

Thanks did'nt see that on the back of the battery box.

Why is there 3 pins on the relay but only 2 wires to it Brown and orange ?

sounds like you have an electronic relay.The correct one has two connectors.If you wire the electronic one up correctly the flasher rate will be more stable.Wolfie will fill you in with the neccessary...

Yes it is the wrong part probably from a car, but with the addition of a single wire to ground it will work and have a more stable flash rate even with the wrong (or blown) bulbs...

I'm just popping to the garage to look at the connections on mine..

damm, mine is marked 'L', 'B' and 'E' which is simple..

L= Live (12v)...Brown wire.
B= Bulb...........Orange wire.
E= Earth..........New wire to a nearby earth on the frame.

I know that many of these relays have other markings for the pins, what does yours have?

Never had good look at it with the rubber off. It appears to be a feplacemnt part seems to work OK with only the brown and orange and no earth.

my flasher on h2a is earthed properly, BUT, flashes like mad, do you think the relay is nackered, ANY HELP THERE LADS.

Proper flasher does not have an earth, what type do you have?

Most likely cause of your quick flash is the wrong power bulbs in the indicators and indicator dash bulb.
