why would you duplicate so many tools?
maybe the guy has more money than sence!

or maybe there are a few mechanics with empty tool boxes

I totally agree Gary. Why would anyone want to duplicate tools and buy stuff that is really just for one job? Screwdriver sets; I have the usual Philips, PoziDriv & flat bladed ones with different sizes and different lengths but jeez, just how many does this guy have? I think if you won the lottery and asked your Snap On man to tool-you-up for most jobs, even then you would end up with half the amount of tools this guy has...

If they are nicked, the guy is stupid putting them for sale all together like this as it looks suspicious. If he had sold them in six or so smaller lots, it would look more believable. I'm really interested to see how this turns out.

It may be that it's all above board and it's just that the guy is rich and has a VERY bad case of OCD!!

Whitworth spanners? Wouldn't be without 'em. They pop up regularly. Push irons, pipe fittings and battery terminals leave me reaching for the Whitworth.

I took my old gas fire out not so long ago. I needed 1 set of BSW spanners, couldn't get a direct replacement supply pipe, instead some spotty little twat told me they'd been 'metricated' and sold me the replacement part(s). I needed 3 sets of spanners to put it back it, BSW for the old bit, AF for the Unified adaptor and Metric for the new bit. I love metric but hate metrication. Got some 'metricated' instructions telling me to drill a 25.4mm hole in my garage door.

But our lovely triples have always been metric...or have they? Answers on a postcard to Magpie triples club, Teddington Lock Studios, Middlesex. Hic!
