There is a fine line between going fast and going to hospital.

Turkish! - Re- our conversation last night! I KNEW that you had brought your bloody paintwork up to me! - I clearly remember the blond haired lad that came to collect it, checking back on my records it was in 1994 and I still have your address of Thorncroft in Hornchurch! - Nowt wrong with MY memory!Turkish wrote:Me too, .

Many thanks Del
Hi Del - the Southern Rally was a great day out yesterday and Steve and me had a good ride out on the triples.
The weather pretty much held out although we got absolutely soaked returning to Crawley.....torrential rain neally all the way back....... the bikes looked a right mess and Steve's freshly restored 250 looked decidedly unrestored with half of all the Kentish mud and grit available liberally spread across it!
Thanks again Del.

Yes, a brilliant weekend its got be said. The organisation time and effort that must have gone into the rally was obvious. The venue was ideal and I think not being able to use the field and us all being tightly packed into the car park and play area added to the ambiance. The food was brilliant with absolutely enormous portions, in fact the ribs even beat Higgsy into surrender. I just about managed a mixed grill starter !!!
The young lady (who's name I've forgotten
) did an absolute sterling job all weekend and truly deserved the pub sponsored trophy.
Well done Del and all involved. I'll be back :smt023

Sorry I took the 'haze in the lanes' a little too literally with what looks to be a knackered crankseal 300 miles after a full rebuild (I used a NOS seal which was probably 30 years old but looked good and soft)
It stopped smoking half way up the M11, so I guess I used up most of the gearbox oil...
Anyone know where I can get a good seal from
One wheel's enough...
