Shiny, shiny things

Just collected these parts from Quality Chrome in Hull. Those guys do a really good job. The handlebars had holes drilled through them when I got the bike so I had them welded up before I sent them down and you can't see a mark where the holes were. Definitely recommend them for service and quality.

Another observation which will no doubt get a response from greater souls... should the front (TLS) brake link rod be chromed?... I was certain mine was simply zinc so that's how I did it.

Same question about the gear linkage rod..?

The early S1 and S2's are certainly zinc, but I have seen several original 1972 S2's with chrome as well.

I`d have guessed its more likely to be "unpolished " Chrome ?

Where they`ve taken the pressed steel item and just dipped it in the Nickel & Chrome tanks without any prep. That would give a dull finish similar to zincing.

The chain adjusters looked more like a zinc finish than any S1/S2 front brake arms I`ve seen.
