CALLING ALL KH250 AND KH400 OWNERS

Post by Tangoman »

Was wondering if the owners of the following model 250's and 400's would help me by looking at the carb markings for these model bikes and letting me know what they are :D
B2
B3
B4
B5
A4
A5
As i haven't found them listed anywhere :(
The carb markings are sited on top of the carb where it clamps to the inlet manifold
the 250's probally start S1E-
and the 400's KH4
Thank you for looking
Mark :D

To start you off the 72 S1's should have S1-0 or S1-1 stamped on them :D :D :D

KH250 B1

It's not very clear but it looks like 'S1U' (?) on the N/S of the clamping boss with a '1' below it.

On the other side of the boss there's a 'H' with a '6' below it.

Don't know whether that makes sense!

I'll take a photo if it helps.

And that's confirmed by the S-series workshop manual; other than the KH250 A5, they're all the same, B1-5. Similarly all KH400s are the same......unless the manual is wrong of course!
