I went along to the Z1 Club Southern Rally on Saturday, aboard my H1F (as my 'Z' is still not ready). Rob from Cornwall stopped over at mine on the Friday when we had nice nosh, a few beers and a trip to the local boozer for several gallons of real ale.
Great weekend (particularly on Friday) but the upshot was I won 'Best Guest Bike' for the H1F at the Z1 meet so I am realy chuffed. I have a nice little trophy to prove it too
The ride home was interesting to say the least! Seventy miles head on into a torrential downpour at 95 mph and the engine never missed a single beat. Who said triples aren't reliable? There were some nice Z's there. Rob won 'Best In Show' for his Z1B and even if I would rather have a two stroke that a four stroke any day of the week it is great to have both.
This was taken just before Stafford, I then fitted the plates when I got it registered nd well in good time for the IOM.
As the paint is original I would never paint it even thought I liked the blue at the time. I have since got used to the brown and prefer it now. It realy is a classic colour.
Nice bike the 'F'. Will see you at the Southern no doubt?
