Crikey Steve! How did you manage to catch me smiling?!? Thanks for taking a decent shot of the stand. And miraculously, when I checked the flooded light today, it was bone dry!
Thanks to everyone who brought their bikes along and helped with setting up, manning and/or dismantling the stand. It was a fairly subdued show from where we were sitting, but we were kept going by homemade shortbread, courtesy of Farmer John plus John McGuinness, er, dropping by late on Saturday to say hello, but, by all accounts, he dropped in everywhere. Unfortunately, my crappy phone, coupled with my general wobbly hands syndrome meant that the best shots were of John trying to get Keith's phone to take a selfie! In John's words "You're phone's shit!". I didn't see Sebastian Vettel visit our stand either, but going by the shot of last year's stand in the Birmingham Mail, there's no telling what was going on! http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/mi ... le-7971742

Many Thanks for the praise Steve
But I think the true Praise must go to you & all of the Lads who went to great Lengths (And Expense/Time etc) to bring along their Pride & Joy/s to show on the Club Stand - As usual we were it seems overlooked by the Judges again as we only got a Highly Condemned for Bills Excellent S2 - Everyone should have got a Rosette I know but how they missed Steves Stunning & Rare KH400A5 is beyond me?
I did notice that several clubs are now awarding all of their Show Bikes on their Stands a Rosette - I think that this is a nice touch & perhaps Food for Thought for Future Shows?
The Show was Busy on saturday but tailed off on Sunday (Usual!) - Normal dose of Enthusiasts & Village Idiots
Huge Thanks to Simon for being the "Chauffeur" to & from the Show - Star Man!
Highlights for me was "God" John McGuiness taking a Piccie of us with my own "Shit Phone" - Could not get over how small the chap is - Same as all of the Racers I suppose?
Anyway Great Company as always & Wishing Rick & Lisa all the Best with their Plans for the Future - So glad he was found Innocent - Justice does work (Sometimes)
See you all soon - Keith.

I did indeed. A nice 400 2 stroke triple. In fact, another club member sealed a deal today on an identical one to mine.SAM wrote:Roger bought a triple???
Pictures anyone?
if you wish to quote me, that's fine. But please use the quote button provided, not a variation of my words.
