h1 frame number

never seen this before frame number LA4F21276KW I allways thought frame numbers started KAF any thoughts genuine number or something not right ?

If it`s an American Import, it may be a " Rebuilt " vehicle.

Some States issue their own VIN numbers to any wrecked bikes that have been written off and then rebuilt. After a SAfety inspection , it gets a new VIN and Title . A bit like our Category C/D and a Q Plate.

No stigma at this end, as it can still be Age related UK registered. Vut , of course, your Frame number certainly won`t be a " matching numbers " bike !!!

Aye you`re right. I should have used " issue " . As I meant " no issue "....with DVLA regards registration.

Stigma. With any future buyer , with it not having a Kawasaki Frame number. Terrifying !!!


( Unless you went mental and did a supermodifid cafe racer etc. ?? )

looked at that bike a few weeks ago, he offerd it to me for£2000 didn't look to bad apart from the frame no and two rev counters, bought a 74 s3 off him, good fella to deal with I thought :lol: phil

now got age related number for my h1e also registed as historic vehicle so happy days just hope we get some nice weather over the weekend Thumbs Up
