If it`s an American Import, it may be a " Rebuilt " vehicle.gsxrtriple wrote:never seen this before frame number LA4F21276KW I allways thought frame numbers started KAF any thoughts genuine number or something not right ?
Some States issue their own VIN numbers to any wrecked bikes that have been written off and then rebuilt. After a SAfety inspection , it gets a new VIN and Title . A bit like our Category C/D and a Q Plate.
No stigma at this end, as it can still be Age related UK registered. Vut , of course, your Frame number certainly won`t be a " matching numbers " bike !!!

Aye you`re right. I should have used " issue " . As I meant " no issue "....with DVLA regards registration.Mitsui Spy wrote:Wanna bet?Neil the Don wrote:No stigma at this end.
Stigma. With any future buyer , with it not having a Kawasaki Frame number. Terrifying !!!
( Unless you went mental and did a supermodifid cafe racer etc. ?? )
