I had a Fantic TI in 1977 - twas an L reg orange one
I have restored one with the correct plate and log book to immaculate condition - no fumes through the zorst - no fuel in the tank - EVER
I think the best restored TI in the UK _ I have not seen one any where near as good
I have a number Fantics - 2 X TI,1 X GT,1 X 125RC Caballero & an 80cc special
Got a little more done this evening.
This is NOT a cocours restoration - I am trying to re- use as much as possible withot replacing. The pipes are originals and not rechromed.
The four re-chromed items arrived back today - grab rail, one chain adjuster block, horn ring and one peice of the gear lever - excellent! Seat came back too - I think it looks good!
you are welcome John, it is looking good

Where did you get your seat cover from...?
Had the seat base repaired (Small amount of welding to one side) re-painted - holder thing re-tapped, re-covered and posted back for £105 - from Leightons - and yes very pleased with it.
Tipped some 25:1 into the carbs tonight and after nearly fourty years the old girl came back to life after 4 kicks
Sounds good too - can't wait to get her registered and back on the road where she belongs
