The replies have been very enlighteniing. I have checked the guard on my 72 H2 project and it is chrome with the cut outs. I then looked at the H1e I had off you Gary and the front guard on that is narrower without the cut outs. I had bought that guard off Bitzcarts to replace what was on there but did not notice the difference.
So what I have now is the H2 with the wrong guard, I have a spare guard which I have had chromed which I can put on the H1e but the guard on the H1e has nice chrome and it seems a pity to have ot stripped to paint it. Not sure what to do. :?
