The one he did PLENTY of miles on, riding all over Europe to at least Portugal and Greece?

Probably after I had it then. I bought it from Allins (Cambridge) for £675 (£350 plus a Yamaha YR5) in 1978 with dodgy paint and a set of LE Sport chambers

and sold it via MCN in 1980 (ish) for £900 to a guy from Bristol I think, he turned up in a van with some mates and took it away with his mates holding it up in the back for 200 miles...

It had a new crank and top end and had about 18K on the clock, chucked in a good set of Denco's as well

I nicked the GTX poster from Woolley Edge services on the M1. A lot of the local bikers used to meet there in the evenings and me and my mate used to go up on our pushbikes to ogle the bikes and dream.

Looks like Paul owned it (and still does!) AFTER you! There is a report in an early KTC newsletter about his "European Adventures" on your ex bike
