Hi guys. just received some truly rotten set of h1 carbs from America which have been sitting for 20yrs plus. all three of the needle jets which slot in from the top <part no 16017-062> needle jet0-4 have the brass guide /tips broken of where the jet needle slots...can these still be used or are new ones available if not? many thanks pete.

do you mean the small brass pip which guides the jet in ? If you do then its probably not critical as long as you try and position the jet as near to where it should be. I found with mine even though I have the brass pips there was a possibility of the jet having a range ( an arc ) of final positions, so I don't think its that crucial . I asked Motocarb ( who will sell you near to originals needles and jets because originals aren't available anymore ) and he told me this.

THANKS VERY MUCH LODGER YOUR REPLY HAS PUT ME AT EASE...IVE BEEN ON A LOT OF SITES TODAY BUT ALL SAY OBSOLETE !..FOUND ONE ORIGINAL OLD STOCK WHICH IS $49 PLUS SHIPPING FROM SINGAPORE..TERRIBLE...CHEERS PETE.
